MLK Day of Service 2024
The annual MLK Day of Service event returned to Athens High School.
We began with a brief program featuring student works along with words by district staff and special guests Mayor Ethan Baker and Congresswoman Haley Stevens. Then in the Athens gym, our community gave back by tying fleece blankets, painting kindness rocks, writing cards, donating blood, and making various other donations. Thank you to our Superintendent Student Advisory Board for all of their work on this event, and thank you to everyone who showed up today in service of others!
