Baker Middle School Hosts Food Drive For Those In Need

Baker Middle School is hosting a food drive to help families in need when their child isn’t at school, such as during the upcoming winter break. Students are encouraged to bring in non-perishable food, cleaning supplies, and toiletries. Students are incentivized by using a point system. For example, some products such as large cereal boxes worth more points than a pack of 4 ramen cups. The winning class/grade will earn a reward such as a movie day for having the most points. Students who participate will turn their goods in between December 4-8 during their 4th hour period.

The following week, there will be a pantry stock, and grocery night for families in need to stock up on goods. Special thanks to the Baker Middle School staff and students for participating in the food drive, and showing their kindness and thoughtfulness.
