IA East delivered their 4th annual Culture Show on Saturday, January 25. The event celebrates several cultures represented in the student population through various forms of creative expression.

Dance is a common practice among many cultures and was well-represented at the event, featuring: Bhangra, Albanian, South Indian, Bollywood, Filipino, KPOP, Bengali, Ukrainian, Garba, and more! Music also played a role with some talented vocalists and the student instrumental group No Direction. And no Culture Show would be complete without a special dance performance by the IA East teachers!

Having started as a freshman, senior Nurayda Albeez hosted the event for her fourth and final time. Albeez said at the event, “I want to thank you all for laughing at my jokes since I was in ninth grade, and for being a part of my Culture Show journey.”

This wonderful event is always a treat, and we look forward to seeing what’s in store for next year!
