Fall Sports Season 2024

Our Student Athletes Have Finished MHSAA Competitive Play for the Fall

Boys Tennis

Troy High placed 2nd at the MHSAA State Finals on October 18th. Troy’s Singles Flight 4 and Doubles Flight 4 were able to bring home a state championship for the Colts.

Meanwhile, Troy Athens brought home 8th place at the MHSAA State Finals.

Cross Country

Both the Colts and the Red Hawks were speedy this year, which proceeded to great results for the teams.

 Both Troy and Athens had several individual qualifiers for States.

-       Kian Schneeweis, Troy, Senior (15:31) 11th place at MHSAA Finals, Received All-State Honors

-       Audrey Hamilton, Troy, Junior (19:04) 72nd place at MHSAA Finals.

-       Maddie Miller, Troy, Junior (19:36) 116th place at MHSAA Finals.

-       Nate Linden, Athens, Junior (15:51) 35th place at MHSAA Finals. (15:38) at Regionals for 4th place with a new school record. Received OAA White Division - All League Honors and was a regional medalist.

-       Myles Linden, Athens, Junior (16:16) 236th at MHSAA Finals, Received OAA White Division.

-       Athens Senior Meher Deol received OAA White Division - All League Honors.

Girls Swim & Dive

With the finals coming up on November 23, the MHSAA D1 Swim and Dive State Championships are close at hand for the Colts and Red Hawks.

Two Red Hawks swimmers qualified for states.

-       Mia Dominguez, Athens, Junior, qualified for states with a (1:94:00) by doing the 100m - She broke a school record.

-       Camilla Inadesk, Athens, Junior, competing in Diving

Troy won the OAA Blue League meet by 100+ points with All League Finishers coming in 1st Place.

Four Colts swimmers qualified for states for the 200 Medley Relay.

-       Elizabeth Qu, Sophomore

-       Becca Kozlowski, Senior

-       Beya Weslati, Freshman

-       Ellie MacLean, Junior

Girls Golf

Troy Athens Sophomore Aanya Bansal was an Individual Qualifier for States where she finished 30th with a score of 176.

Troy Senior Madison Malenfant was an Individual Qualifier for States where she also finished 30th with a total score of 176.

Boys Soccer

Troy had a great season finishing 14-3-0. They ended the season with a 2-1 overtime loss to Rochester Adams in the Regional round of the MHSAA playoffs.

Troy Athens finished 12-4-2 the season coming off of their state championship. The Red Hawks season ended on a 1-0 loss to Berkley in Districts.

Girls Volleyball

The Red Hawks had a 15-12-1 season. Their season ended in a 3 set loss to Utica Eisenhower in the District 31 Semifinals.

The Red Hawks had many OAA All-League and Honorable Mention players as well.

-       Skyye Frailey, Junior - OAA All-League

-       Julianna Petrous, Junior - OAA All-League

-       Ashlyn Andrzejewski, Senior - OAA All-League

-       Angie Leonard, Senior - OAA All-League

-       Annie Lawson, Junior - OAA All-League Honorable Mention

-       Lily Fellin, Senior - OAA All-League Honorable Mention

-       Abby Slade, Senior - OAA All-League Honorable Mention

The Colts had a 15-17-3 season. Their season ended in a 4 set loss to Utica Eisenhower in Districts.

The Colts had many OAA All-League and Honorable Mention players as well.

-       Anna Rich, Senior - OAA All-League

-       Bella Colon, Senior - OAA All-League

-       Lyla Gorny, Sophomore - OAA All-League Honorable Mention

Football

The Troy Colts were just shy of the playoffs coming in 38th in playoff points. They ended their season with a record of 4-5 with wins to Bloomfield Hills, Pontiac, Oak Park, and Athens.

 The Troy Athens Red Hawks finished their season with a record of 3-6 with wins to Berkley, Bloomfield Hills, and Fraser.
